About

The Global Youth Sustainability Challenge is opening as of March 2024.​ The goal of this challenge is to recognize the multifaceted talents of today's youth, and tomorrow's global leaders.

A panel of experts including Stanford, Engineering for Change, and renewable energy specialists review student projects in humanities, arts, and sciences that improve the collective perception of sustainability issues, as well as improve the human condition. Student projects are recognized with Grand Prizes ($100 each), as well as First, Second, and Third Place prizes. In addition, exemplary student projects are eligible for publication in the "Voices of the Youth: Perspectives on our Planet" book.

 

2024 marks the flagship year for the Global Youth Sustainability competition. We encourage students from around the world to apply, and contribute their unique talents and perspective on how we can work together to address international sustainability and development challenges.
